Well, it's been a minute.

Hey anyone who reads these. It's been a minute. I will be honest, I kind of forgot all about this until a friend reminded me and I figured, you know what? I have some new projects I wouldn't mind sharing. So in this post covid lockdown kind of world I have been getting into a new(ish) game known as Marvel Crisis Protocol. It launched just as I was getting out of the Knight Models DCUMG game (due to some terrible customer service on their part) and was looking to scratch the quick, fun, rules-light miniature game itch. Marvel Crisis Protocol, to put it lightly, knocks it out of the park. It's quick to learn, has a very solid rule set, and is made by a group who have been working on games I have loved (Warmachine and Guildball), and they really know the Marvel lore.

Also, the sculpts are pretty damned great. Admittedly, there have been a few that have fallen a little flat, but those ones are the exceptions. As a rule, they're usually dynamic and heaps of fun to paint. When it comes to assembly, they're not quite on a level with Malifaux, but they are a bit fiddlier than the average 40k model.

Some photos of some of the teams below. I will endeavor to take and upload more pics of my collection in the coming weeks.

Spider-Foes, one of my absolute favorite affiliations.

Web Warriors, also a tonne of fun to play.

Inhumans, have yet to get them on the table, but I am looking forward to trying them out.
